Former Entravision exec José Villafañe named CRO at Steereo

August 15, 2019 by Veronica Villafañe

Former Entravision sales exec José Villafañe has started a new job as Chief Revenue Officer at Steereo.

He assumes day-to-day leadership of the company’s advertising and music revenue initiatives.

Steereo is a music discovery app exclusively for rideshare vehicles that helps emerging artists – from independent to major label – promote new music.

Before joining Steereo, Villafañe was Head of Sales and Marketing for MLC Media, a Spanish-language prep service in the U.S with over 600+ affiliates.

He previously spent over seven years at Entravision, where he held several executive positions and founded the Entravision Audio Network. When he left the company in 2017, he was president of sales.

Prior to Entravision, Villafañe was VP and General Manager of Sedza Broadcasting. Before that, he spent 4 years as National Sales Manager at Univision. He also worked at Radio Unica as National Sales Manager.
