Shoer Roth promoted at El Nuevo Herald

September 18, 2019 by Veronica Villafañe

Daniel Shoer Roth has been promoted to new role with expanded responsibilities at El Nuevo Herald.

He moves up from AccesoMiami.com coordinator and real time news reporter to Digital Growth Producer for elNuevoHerald.com.

In his new role, he will focus on increasing traffic for all content, finding ways to attract an increasing number of unique visitors to the site, handle producer duties and continue to oversee the Acceso Miami page, which has grown under his leadership.

The Venezuelan native joined El Nuevo Herald as a reporter in 1999. Since then, he has been a columnist, opinion page contributor and fill-in editor.

Shoer Roth took a leave from his full-time job in 2015 to write the biography of Miami Catholic Bishop Agustín Román. He returned to El Nuevo Herald after completing the book two years ago.
