Angélica Vale named midday host at Cali 93.9 FM

October 1, 2019 by Veronica Villafañe

Meruelo Media announced it has named Mexican actress, singer and TV personality Angélica Vale as the new midday host for its recently acquired Los Angeles station Cali 93.9 FM.

Fans of the telenovela actress can tune her in Monday through Saturday from from 10 am to 3 pm.

Her first day on Cali 93.9 FM is Tuesday, October 15, 2019.

Vale, daughter of legendary actress and singer Angélica María and comedian Raúl Vale, started her career in the entertainment industry as a child. Over a 40-year span, she performed in theater, film, TV and radio.

In addition to starring roles in telenovelas, including “La Fea Más Bella” (Mexico’s version of “Betty la Fea”) and “Y mañana será otro día… mejor” (currently airing on Univision weekdays at 3 pm), Vale also was co-host of the short-lived Telemundo Saturday night variety show “¡Qué Noche!”

Vale is the wife of Otto Padrón, president of Meruelo Media.
