Paola Virrueta

Virrueta named anchor at Univision 14

October 14, 2019 by Veronica Villafañe

KDTV Univision 14 has a new anchor for its weeknight newscasts. The station has hired Paola Virrueta as co-anchor of Noticias Univision 14’s 6 and 11 pm shows.

She starts the new role today.

Virrueta replaces Palmira Pérez, who left the station in September after a two-year run.

A native of Bolivia, Virrueta most recently worked for Excélsior Televisión in Mexico, where she hosted a weekly interview program.

She previously worked for the nonprofit organization ADPP in northern Mozambique in sub-Saharan Africa, as well as for the Red Uno network in Bolivia.
