En la mañana EstrellaTV

Estrella TV brings back morning news to its lineup

November 17, 2019 by Veronica Villafañe

Five months after Estrella TV canceled its two morning shows – “Primera Edición” and “Buenos Días Familia” – amid its parent company’s bankruptcy proceedings, LBI media has launched “En La Mañana.”

This marks the first new program rolled out under the company’s new management.

The new two-hour national morning news program airs live from EstrellaTV’s Dallas television studios Monday through Friday from 7 to 9 am.

Rosy Martell, Carolina Sulbarán and Carolina Pereira are the show’s hosts.

Martell most recently worked for Nación ESPN and was host of Fox Sports Mexico’s “Central Fox.” She was previously a weather and sports anchor for EstrellaTV’s Los Angeles flagship station KRCA-62. She began her broadcasting career in 2002 in her native Mexico.

Sulbarán’s experience includes roles as anchor at Venevisión, host and producer at Venezuela’s Globovision and field reporter and morning anchor at Canal de Noticias.

Pereira has worked as a producer, field reporter and news anchor for Globovision.
