Marysol Castro rejoins morning team at WPIX

January 5, 2020 by Veronica Villafañe

New Yorkers will once again see Marysol Castro on-air at PIX11.
She rejoins the station as a reporter for the Monday, January 6 launch of a new weekday morning newscast at 9 am.
This will mark her third time at PIX11.
Castro previously worked as the traffic reporter when the PIX11 Morning News launched in in 2001. She returned to the station as an anchor in 2013.
Castro previously worked as a host at ESPN and a weather anchor at Good Morning America and CBS’ The Early Show.
Most recently, she was named the first female Public Address announcer for the New York Mets, making her the first Latina PA announcer in Major League Baseball.
