Jairo Gallego

Gallego on board at Telemundo 40

February 21, 2020 by Veronica Villafañe

Jairo Gallego has started a new job as Multimedia Journalist at Telemundo 40.

He’ll be reporting for the Río Grande Valley station’s weekday afternoon newscasts.

Gallego joined the Telemundo Texas station after working as a producer and reporter for Miami-based Telemundo News Services, which provides content for its stations and affiliates nationwide.

Prior to Telemundo, he was an announcer for Caracol 1260 AM in Miami.

He began his journalism career in his native Colombia, where he produced and hosted “Esta Noche con Jairo” in Telemar.
