Jeannette Reyes returns to D.C. for FOX5 anchor job

November 5, 2020 by Veronica Villafañe

Jeannette Reyes is leaving WPVI-TV, the ABC-owned station in Philadelphia, where she has worked for over 4 years.

Currently a 6ABC morning anchor, she’s moving back to Washington, D.C. to join the morning news show at FOX5.

Reyes will co-anchor FOX 5 Morning with Steve Chenevey from 6 to 9 am and then join the entire morning team on Good Day DC from 9 to 11 am.

She previously worked in the nation’s capital as a general assignment reporter at ABC affiliate WJLA from 2014 to 2016. Her husband is Robert Burton, a morning co-anchor at WJLA.

The daughter of Dominican immigrants, born and raised in Providence, Rhode Island, Reyes also worked as a reporter at ABC affiliate KATV in Little Rock.
