Telemundo Rumbo al Mundial

Telemundo, which holds the Spanish-language rights for FIFA’s World Cup Qatar 2022 – its second consecutive World Cup – is promising “the most extensive coverage ever” of the CONCACAF FIFA World Cup Qualifiers, which kick off Wednesday, March 24.

For the first round, nine matches will be live streamed exclusively on Peacock Premium and three will be simulcast live on Universo, TelemundoDeportes.com and the Telemundo Deportes app.

Six-time Emmy-Award winning play-by-play commentator Andres Cantor, former Mexican National Team stars Carlos Hermosillo and Manuel Sol, and experts Copán Alvarez, Sammy Sadovnik and Eduardo Biscayart will lead the coverage.

Telemundo picked up U.S. Spanish-language rights for the 2018 and 2022 World Cups in 2011. It landed the World Cup 2026 rights in 2015.

More details about the qualifier coverage, dates and times of the first matches and where Telemundo will broadcast them is available on Forbes.
