Pedro Guerrero

Pedro Guerrero arrives to KXTX for anchor job

May 25, 2021 by Veronica Villafañe

Pedro Guerrero joins KXTX Telemundo 39 as an anchor and MMJ.

He’ll be a full time anchor for Telemundo 39’s 4:00 and 4:30 pm weekday newscasts.

He started this week, but his on-air debut date is yet to be determined.

Guerrero steps into the role left vacant by Carlos Zapata in October 2020, when he moved to Telemundo 47 in New York.

Guerrero arrives to the Dallas station from Telemundo 49 in Tampa, where he was a reporter and anchor since 2017.

He previously worked in his native Venezuela as a reporter and anchor for Radio Caracas Televisión from 1999 until 2012. Before that, Guerrero worked as a writer for El Nacional newspaper.
