Richard Borjas joins “Red Table Talk: The Estefans”

June 20, 2021 by Veronica Villafañe

Richard Borjas has started a new job as executive producer and show runner for “Red Table Talk: The Estefans.”

He’ll be working on Season 2 of the Facebook Watch show, a spinoff of Jada Pinkett Smith’s interview series, launched in 2020.

The Miami-based Estefans show was renewed for 12 episodes.

Borjas previously spent 10 years in multiple roles at Telemundo and NBC. He was most recently VP of Programming and Development, NBCUniversal Domestic TV Distribution, based in Los Angeles, charged with developing original programs. He also managed the daily creative affairs of L.A.-produced shows, such as “The Kelly Clarkson Show.”

Before that, Borjas was VP of Production for Telemundo, where he oversaw the development and production of “Un Nuevo Día,” “Suelta La Sopa” and “La Voz Kids.”
