Julio Poletti leaves KDTV to pursue master’s degree

July 8, 2021 by Veronica Villafañe

Reporter and weekend anchor Julio Poletti has resigned from his job at KDTV Univision 14 in the Bay Area.

He’s moving to Denver, where he will focus on completing an online master’s degree in Digital Marketing and E-Commerce.

“I’m excited to be back in school and continue learning new skills in our ever-changing industry,” he tells Media Moves. “With my experience in digital journalism, it was important for me to compliment it with education, so I can better understand future trends and the impact of our content in different platforms.”

His last day at KDTV is July 16.

Poletti joined KDTV Univision 14 as a reporter and weekend anchor in 2019. He was previously a digital reporter for The Palm Beach Post in West Palm Beach, FL.

He was also an MMJ at Telemundo Denver from 2014 to 2016. Before that, he worked as a content producer for Reset TV, working on Telemundo’s network reality show “Yo Soy El Artista.”
