Univision New York names Luisa Collins VP of Content

July 7, 2021 by Veronica Villafañe

Univision New York has named Luisa Collins Vice President of Content.

She’ll oversee Univision 41’s newsroom and lead content on all of the station’s linear and digital properties that reach audiences in New York, New Jersey and Connecticut.

Collins steps into the role left vacant since January when Esteban Creste was removed amid leadership changes.

She starts the new role July 19.

Collins arrives to Univision 41 from Entravision, where she worked for the past 14 years, leaving the company as VP of News, Social Affairs and Wellness for the company, a position she held since 2014. Before that, she was news director at Noticias Univision Colorado from 2007 to 2014.

She previously worked as a content producer and reporter for Telemundo stations in Dallas and Houston.
