Telemundo Arizona promotes Octavio Pulido to lead anchor

September 13, 2021 by Veronica Villafañe

Octavio Pulido has been promoted to lead anchor for Noticiero Telemundo Arizona at 10 pm with Angélica Atondo.

He replaces Daniel Aguirre, who left the company in April.

Pulido will continue to co-anchor the 4 and 4:30 pm newscasts along with Paola Morales. He will also host “El Update con Telemundo Arizona” on OTT platforms Roku and Apple TV.

Pulido joined Telemundo Arizona as weekend anchor and multimedia journalist in 2016.

He started his broadcast career at rival Univision Arizona, where he spent 5 years working as associate news producer, video journalist and fill-in anchor.
