Univision announces hosts and sets launch date for Sunday edition of “Despierta América”

September 15, 2021 by Veronica Villafañe

Six months after announcing plans to expand its weekday morning show to include a Sunday edition, Univision is making it a reality.

“Despierta América en Domingo” premieres Sunday, September 19 at 8 am ET.

Univision’s new Sunday morning show will be hosted by Maria Antonieta Collins, Raúl González, Jackie Guerrido, with Carolina Rosario as the program’s news anchor.

According to Univision, the launch of “Despierta América en Domingo” is part of the company’s efforts to strengthen the network’s weekend programming with a recognizable franchise.

“As part of Univision’s transformation strategy, we are focused on innovating and offering our viewers new entertainment and news concepts,” says Luis Silberwasser, president of Univision Television Networks Group.

Una Leccion de Buen Periodismo, que pena Univision, que una Cadena como NBC News este en Guatemala con la gente Humilde.

NBC gave Univision a journalism lesson. they inaugurate a program on Sundays, with the same bad people as always. the same dancing like stupid. and the world with so much news, what a bad chain. They only talk about Chiquis and her family, they don’t have more. They have deceived 11 million Mexicans, what a shame.
