Scripps taps ex Telemundo exec Andrés Chaparro for Texas stations

Scripps has named Andrés Chaparro VP and general manager for its ABC affiliates KXXV and KRHD in the Waco/Temple/Bryan, Texas market.

His appointment is effective Monday, October 25.

Chaparro was previously president and general manager of KDEN Telemundo 25 Denver. He exited the company in January 2019. He had been at KDEN since 2010.

Chaparro previously held sales manager positions at Telemundo Chicago and Dallas. He also worked for the Entravision-owned Univision affiliate Albuquerque and KUVN Univision 23 in Dallas.
