Alicia Neaves returns to KENS as weekend anchor

November 1, 2021 by Veronica Villafañe

Alicia Neaves has returned to San Antonio’s KENS for a broader role at the CBS affiliate.

In 2017, she left her job as a KENS reporter to work as an anchor at another Tegna-owned WLTX in Columbia, S.C. She came back to her hometown to co-anchor the KENS weekend evening newscasts with Phil Anaya.

She’ll also be reporting during the week.

Before KENS, she spent two years at NBC affiliate NewsWest 9 and Telemundo 20 in Odessa, TX as a bilingual reporter covering border issues.

She got her start in production at WOAI News 4 San Antonio.
