Jonathan Mejía has been hired as a multimedia journalist for Sinclair-owned duopoly KFOX and KDBC (Fox and CBS affiliates) in El Paso.

He’ll be reporting weekdays for both stations.

He starts the new job today.

Prior to joining KFOX, Mejía was an associate producer for Univision, where he worked for network shows “Al Punto con Jorge Ramos,” “Despierta América” and Edición Digital. He also reported stories for Fusion’s UNews.

He resigned from his job at Univision in July 2021 went to film a documentary in Mexico and Central America.

Congratulations. Jonathan is a gem! He was a student employee whom I supervised and knew he was someone who was going to be successful in whatever road he chose.
