It’s a shame the commercial industry loses good young people, on account, I imagine since I know the market well, of the extraordinary amount of work that MVJs/one-man bands are subjected to on a daily basis. One can only sustain the duties for about 5 years…burns out young journalists really quickly. MMJ positionsare the worst thing that has happened to the commercial broadcast industry. Accepted by young, hungry graduates but abused by small, not so hungry, newsrooms.

That’s exactly what they do to us Roberto , every single day, establishing the so called “Universities”, keeping the reality of work slavery really close to the chest, selling dreams to all those kids in need, lying us about both the regular irregular load awaiting for them at the stations.
      What happens next ?
In two years top, we feel betrayed and disheartened, so we leave the business with a bitter flavor behind.
The lucky ones, do a crossover to Ingles only.
The other ones, ask themselves why the MMJ concept is so used in some stations and why, is a concept never touched in others.
