Telemundo 47 hires reporter Isabel Peralta-Hill

WNJU Telemundo 47 has hired Isabel Peralta-Hill as a general assignment reporter.

She joins the New York station Monday, October, with her on-air debut expected later this month.

Peralta-Hill secured a full-time position at Telemundo 47, after spending three years as a freelance reporter at rival Univision 41.

Prior to her move to New York, she was a line producer at South Florida PBS station WPBT and freelance reporter at Telemundo 51 in Miami.

Her past experience includes reporter roles at the now defunct Mundofox 22 in Los Angeles, Univision 14 in San Francisco, Univision 21 in Fresno, Azteca América in Salt Lake City.

A native of the Dominican Republic, she began her journalism career as a news reporter and host at KUTH, a Univision affiliate in Salt Lake City.
