Antonio Rodríguez returns to Telemundo Las Vegas

March 20, 2024 by Veronica Villafañe

Antonio Rodríguez is heading back to Telemundo Las Vegas.

He’ll be rejoining the station as weeknight anchor, starting the new role April 15.

He replaces Benjamín Zamora, who left the station in February to focus on his own social media news venture.

Rodríguez is currently weekend anchor at KTLM Telemundo 40 Rio Grande Valley. Prior to his promotion to anchor in 2019, he was a video journalist at the Texas station.

Rodríguez previously worked at Telemundo Las Vegas from 2014 to 2018, first as a general reporter, later named consumer investigative reporter, in charge of leading the Telemundo Responde unit.

Before that, he worked 8 years at Entravision’s McAllen duopoly KNSO Univision 48 and KFXV Fox 2 News, where he reported in Spanish, and also produced and anchored the English-language “Good Day Valley” morning show.

Rodríguez started his career at Univision Arizona as an assignment editor in 2000, moving up to reporter two years later.
