Telemundo Station Group is rearranging and expanding the roles of two of its executives as a result of José Suárez’s move to Florida.
Andrew Deschapelles, president and general manager of KTAZ Telemundo 39 Phoenix and KHRR Telemundo 40 Tucson since 2018, adds the same title and oversight of KBLR Telemundo Las Vegas.
With Deschapelles’ new leadership role at the Las Vegas station, Telemundo has reassigned his duties as president and GM at KTDO Telemundo 48 El Paso.
Patricia Buchanan takes the helm of Telemundo 48 El Paso, in addition to her responsibilities as president and GM of Telemundo New Mexico and Telemundo 60 San Antonio, roles she has held since January 2023.
Stacy Owen, president and GM of Telemundo 48 Bay Area and NBC Bay Area, will now also oversee Telemundo 33 Sacramento and Telemundo 51 Fresno.
