Miguelangel López has scored another promotion at the Telemundo Station Group.
He has been elevated to regional VP of News and Content for Telemundo Orlando, Tampa and Fort Myers, effective immediately.
In his new role, he will oversee news operations for the three stations.
López joined Telemundo Orlando as VP of News in January 2021. He previously spent three years as VP of News at KTLM Telemundo 40 Rio Grande Valley. Before that, he was news director and executive producer at the McAllen station.
In addition to leadership positions, López has also held a variety of production and on-air roles, including reporter, correspondent and senior producer for Telemundo Network and WKAQ Telemundo Puerto Rico over the course of his journalism career.
