Penhaul leaves Univision

Karl Penhaul

Less than 5 months after being named Univision special foreign correspondent, Karl Penhaul has resigned.

In a tweet sent out today, Karl stated:  “I have departed Univision for the freelance life again. Good luck to the team at Univision for 2012.”

An insider says there may have been a disagreement over salary.  When contacted, Univision reps were unaware of Karl’s departure.
