Rodríguez joins NBC News as Miami correspondent

Maya RodriguezMaya Rodríguez has left KUSA, the NBC affiliate in Denver, to become a correspondent for NBC News.

She is joining the NBC’s Miami bureau, where she’ll cover the southern U.S., Latin America and the Caribbean, reporting across all platforms for NBC News and for MSNBC.

Rodríguez had been at KUSA since 2014. She previously worked six years at WWL-TV, the CBS affiliate in New Orleans.

Before that, she was at WINK-TV in Ft. Myers for almost four years. She started her on-air reporting career at KAMR-TV in Amarillo, TX back in 2001.
