Telefutura axes Noche de Perros

April 13, 2012 by Veronica Villafañe

L-R: Gabriel Varela, Daniel Carles, (Mascot- Sócrates) and Carlos Calderon.

Telefutura’s late night show for men, “Noche de Perros” has been canceled.  The last show will be April 20.

The network had promoted the program as “the best in testosterone-charged news and entertainment,” but apparently the audience didn’t agree.  It had dismal ratings and Telefutura pulled the plug only 6 months after it went on the air.

“Noche de Perros” debuted October 31, 2011. It’s hosted by Carlos Calderón, Gabriel Varela and Daniel Carles.

Wow! now that’s a shocker. Noche de Perros is pulling something(in a indivdual way) like Tombola were back in January because Tombola and Noche De Perros were no match for the likes of Escandalo TV, La Tijera and Acceso Maximo. That leads Quien Tiene La Razon along with Conacto Deportivo and Solo Boxeo the only good shows left on Telefutura so Carlos Calderon, Daniel Carles along with Melissa Marty, Anabelle Blum and Danella Urubay need to host a new show(on Univision, Galavision or Telefutura) or be respectively glued into other Univision/Telefutura shows. To the the truth, Telemundo’s lineup has the bigger gain than Telefutura’s as of right now since La Tijera and Escandalo Tv went off the air in October 2011.
