Canseco drops daily radio show

February 3, 2014 by Veronica Villafañe

Ana Maria CansecoAna María Canseco will no longer host her two-hour daily syndicated GLR Networks radio show that aired Monday-Friday, at 10 am PT/1 pm ET.

She will continue to record entertainment capsules and tape a 2-hour Regional Mexican music program to air on weekends. The show will keep the same name of her daily program, “Échate Pa’ Cá.”

According to a source, Ana María was overwhelmed by pulling double duty – co-hosting “Un Nuevo Día,” Telemundo’s early morning show, a gig she landed a month after the launch “Échate Pa’ Cá” on on July 1, 2013.

Radio execs are currently searching for the talent that will take over Ana María’s time slot.
