Anchor Gloria Echeverry and entertainment actor Rafael Bello are no longer at WNJU Telemundo 47. Media Moves has confirmed their last day with the company was Friday, July 10.

Telemundo would not comment on their exit from the station.

Gloria was hired in August of 2013 to co-anchor the 6 and 11 pm weekday news alongside Jorge Ramos.

She previously worked in Colombia, where she held multiple TV hosting and news anchor jobs in Colombia, including for Noticiero 24 horas and NTC Televisión.

Rafael had been at WNJU since 2011, starting out as a weekend sports anchor, before taking over as traffic anchor and host of “Acceso Total NY” in 2014.

Before moving to New York, he was a radio host/producer for Desde las Gradas Radio and sports anchor for Noticias SIN in his native Dominican Republic.

No word yet on their replacements.

Gloria and Rafael’s departure comes just before the arrival of new VP of News Karen Méndez, who starts her new job this week.

You cut one of the best Entertainment anchors that built AccesoTotal NY that real bulls**t. AccesoTotal did really good in the ratings because of Rafael Bello

I guess emmys dont matter smfh! Biggest mistake they have made. They jorge is gonna be there a million years and now they cant make up there mind of who to host a.t,
This reminds me of what they did to PIX a few years back that’s why they are where they are now especially in the mornings

Like many Spanish TV Networks WNJU Telemundo 47 only has one meteorologist.. Most stations don’t even have one.
It is truly sad how misinformed Hispanics are about weather.
Switching the only expert to the mornings is a huge mistake! Way to go in promoting true knowledge.. Only Hispanic TV in the NY market.. and she get sort of a demotion? Unless Andrea is happy about it, although I don’t think there is nothing happy about that schedule!

You keep Vicky of all people high pitch squeaky voice and obnoxious laugh … Rafael Bello.. Is a great host and better complemented with the other girls….. And Andrea Romero was doing a great job why the switch… Best meteorologist and now barely seen… Unreal…
