Gaviria named CMO at Entercom

Ruth GaviriaRuth Gaviria has joined radio broadcasting company Entercom Communications as Chief Marketing Officer, reporting to President and CEO David Field.

She previously spent 5 years at Univision, where she was EVP of Corporate Marketing, until her departure in August of last year.

While at Univision, she directed brand and audience strategy, spearheading the company’s new identity as the “Hispanic Heartbeat of America” and updating its logo.

Prior to joining Univision in 2010, she was Vice President of Hispanic Ventures for Meredith Corporation. Before that, she was Director of marketing for People En Español.
