In the past 3 months, there has been some turnover at KTMD with the resignation of Executive Producer Carlos Tamez, and the departure of producer William Negrón.
Andrea’s first day on the new job was this past Monday, May 9.
She had been News Director for Telemundo Arizona since December of 2011. Andrea joined KTAZ in January 2010 as line producer for the station’s re-launch of the 5 and 10 pm local newscasts. Before moving to Phoenix, she produced the Arizona newscast from the now defunct Telemundo Production Center (TPC) in Dallas. Andrea previously worked as line producer at Univision Dallas and “Primer Impacto” in Miami.
