Telemundo Dallas adds Fiestas, Aguirre to news team

Analía Fiestas and Andrea Aguirre have joined KXTX Telemundo 39 Dallas.

They fill the Video Journalist positions left vacant by the departures of Luis Gerardo Nuñez, who left in January for a reporter job at Telemundo’s WNJU 47 in New York, and Gabriel Torres, who returned to San Antonio in July to work as a weather anchor for KWEX Univision 41.

Analía started reporting last week. Andrea is expected to begin her on-air role next week.

Analía moved to Dallas from Miami, where she was a reporter for Telemundo News Service. She previously worked as an associate producer for three years at Miami’s ABC affiliate WPLG 10.

Andrea arrives to KXTX from rival station Univision Dallas, where she was a VJ since December of 2013. Before that, she spent two years at Univision Laredo, where she started her broadcast career.
