Erika LopezErika Lopez has been named morning meteorologist for KVUE, the ABC affiliate in Austin.

She debuts today on “Daybreak,” which airs weekdays at 4:30 and 5 am CST.

She takes over the morning slot left vacant by Albert Ramon, after he was promoted to Chief Meteorologist and moved to the station’s afternoon and evening newscasts.

Miss Lopez is a horrible forecaster with regards to accurately predicting future weather events. I understand it’s simply predicting the weather, but she strikes it wrong too regularly. I’ve relied on kvue for years now when it comes to planning my day out for the weather, but from here out, I’ll use another service.
