Lozano leaves Telemundo San Antonio for Univision Dallas

November 13, 2019 by Veronica Villafañe

Jairo Lozano has started a new job as multi-media journalist at Univision 23 in Dallas.

He’ll be working nightside Sunday through Thursday.

He made his on-air debut this week.

Lozano arrives to Dallas from Telemundo San Antonio. He first joined that station as a VJ in 2016 and was bumped up to  weekend anchor a year later when KVDA launched weekend newscasts.

Born and raised in Jalisco, Mexico, Lozano moved to Texas when he was 14. He landed his first reporter gig at KTLM Telemundo 40 in McAllen in 2014.
