Rodríguez tapped for anchor job at Telemundo New York

March 4, 2020 by Veronica Villafañe

WNJU Telemundo 47 is adding David Rodríguez to its news team. He’ll be joining the station as weekday co-anchor of the 5 pm newscast and general assignment reporter for the 11 pm show.

The Emmy-award winning journalist starts the new job on Monday, March 16. His first on-air appearance is scheduled for later in the month.

A native of Puerto Rico, Rodríguez arrives to Telemundo 47 after spending eight years as a morning news anchor and general assignment reporter at WSCV Telemundo 51 in Miami.

Prior to Telemundo 51, Rodríguez worked as a reporter and producer on WKAQ-AM and as a member of Univision Puerto Rico’s television news team.
