Pilar Garibotto

Garibotto lands at MegaTV

July 17, 2020 by Veronica Villafañe

Pilar Garibotto has started a new role as general producer for “Cala,” which debuts on MegaTV next week.

She’ll be focusing on news and current events-related segments on the show.

A multi-Emmy-award winning journalist, Garibotto was most recently freelancing on a variety of projects, including one for Univision’s TUDN.

She was previously executive producer for Telemundo’s “Al Rojo Vivo” from 2012 until 2018, when she was hit by a wave of network layoffs.

Before that, she worked in multiple roles at LBI Media, including anchor. Her past experience includes positions as reporter at local Telemundo and Univision stations in Los Angeles.
