Pitti leaves Entravision for Univision network news

July 30, 2020 by Veronica Villafañe

Edwin Pitti has left Entravision, where he had been White House correspondent for the company’s stations around the country since 2015.

He resigned earlier this month for an opportunity to work as a national correspondent.

The Panamanian journalist, who spent 11 years working for Univision affiliates, is now a correspondent for Univision network, covering the White House, Congress and the federal government for “Despierta América,” “Edición Digital” and “UNews.”

Prior to his move to Washington, DC, he worked as a video journalist at Univision 65 Philadelphia and Univision Raleigh, where he co-anchored Noticias 40, the first local Spanish newscast in North Carolina.
