Iris Delgado headed to Telemundo Orlando for new anchor job

February 15, 2022 by Veronica Villafañe

Iris Delgado is leaving Philadelphia for a new job at Telemundo Orlando.

She’ll be joining WTMO Telemundo 31 as news anchor for the station’s 5, 6 and 11 pm weekdays newscasts.

Her on-air debut will be Monday, March 14.

She replaces Andrea Marcial, who left Telemundo 31 in December after spending 10 years at the station.

Delgado is leaving WWSI Telemundo 62 in Philadelphia, where she has worked since 2013. She started as a reporter and was promoted to anchor in 2016.

Before Telemundo 62, she was a correspondent for Univision’s Primer Impacto and Noticiero Univision.

This move marks her return to Orlando, where she spent two years as a weather anchor, reporter and producer for WVEN Univision from 2011 to 2013.
