Juan Juárez leaves Telemundo Arizona for communications job

March 23, 2022 by Veronica Villafañe

Reporter Juan Juárez has left Telemundo Arizona to join the Maricopa Association of Governments as a bilingual communications and digital outreach planner.

In his new role, he’ll be a bilingual communications spokesperson, helping with media relations, internal and external communications, social media and public information campaigns for the Phoenix area government agency.

Juárez moved to Phoenix in 2019 to join Telemundo Arizona as a news reporter/MMJ. He left the job at the end of February.

He previously worked at the Univision Las Vegas affiliate from November 2015 to April 2018, when the station shut down local production of its newscasts.
