Yisel Tejeda moves to Telemundo Orlando for anchor job

March 28, 2022 by Veronica Villafañe

Yisel Tejeda has left Univision New York to join Noticias Telemundo 31 as an anchor for the station’s weekday noon newscast.

Her on-air debut will be Monday, April 4.

She replaces Olga Aymat, who exited Telemundo Orlando in February.

An Emmy award-winning journalist, Tejeda spent seven years at Univision 41, starting as an investigative reporter. She was promoted to 11 pm anchor in 2019.

Prior to Univision, she worked as an anchor, producer and reporter for InfoMás and Baynews9, Bright House Network’s Spanish-language and English-language broadcast news stations in Tampa.
