Guillermo Ochoa joins Telemundo Houston as weekday anchor

June 19, 2022 by Veronica Villafañe

Guillermo Ochoa joins KTMD Telemundo Houston as an anchor for the stations’s 5 and 10 pm weekday newscasts.

He’ll be co-anchoring alongside Crystal Ayala.

His first day on-air is Monday, June 20.

Ochoa replaces Alejandro Mendoza who moved to WNJU Telemundo 47 for the weekday anchor spot at the New York station.

Ochoa arrives to Houston from KVEA Telemundo 52 Los Angeles where he anchored the morning newscasts for 4 years.

He previously worked in his native Mexico City as an anchor for Televisa’s 24-hour news channel newscast En Una Hora.
