Ana Cabrera arrives to MSNBC as anchor of her own morning show

As was widely expected, Ana Cabrera has joined MSNBC to anchor her own weekday program.

The cable network announced her arrival and the launch of Ana Cabrera Reports.

The show premieres Monday, April 10 at 10 am ET.

The award-winning journalist will break down the latest news and include interviews and discussions with newsmakers, journalists, thought leaders, as well as expert in-the-field reporting on the day’s most important stories to viewers.

Cabrera spent almost a a decade at CNN, first as a Denver-based correspondent, before landing a weekend anchor slot. She ended her run at the cable news network doing the 1 pm ET weekday edition of CNN Newsroom.

She announced her departure from CNN on air December 22. She cited personal reasons and expressed gratitude to her crew, colleagues, friends and audience.
