Emmy Award winning journalist Eliecer Marte has joined PIX11 News in New York City as a general assignment reporter.
In his new job, he’ll also conduct special reports on issues affecting the Hispanic community.
Marte previously worked as a reporter at News12 Networks, the New Jersey-based cable network, where he transitioned to English news in January 2023.
Before that, he spent four years as a general assignment reporter and weekend fill-in anchor at WNJU-Telemundo 47.
Marte’s past experience also includes reporting for various Univision Network shows and the now-defunct MundoFOX.
