Valle lands at Univision Radio

February 9, 2011 by Veronica Villafañe

Jose Valle

José Valle, who quit his job as General Manager of KVEA-52 in November of 2010, has landed another L.A. job – as VP and GM of Univision Radio. He’ll be in charge of Univision’s L.A. FM radio stations – KLVE, KSCA, KRCD/KRCV and KTNQ-AM.

According to Portada, Univision notified its employees via a memo from Univision Local Media President Peter Walker. The appointment hadn’t previously been made public, but apparently José was hired in December.

This marks a return to his radio beginnings and familiar surroundings – José began his broadcast career at KTNQ and KLVE.

Before joining Univision Radio, José had been GM at KVEA-52 since 2007. He arrived to L.A. from Dallas, where he had been VP and GM of KXTX-39, Telemundo’s O&O.
