February 5, 2016 by Veronica Villafañe

Johana SuarezJohana Suárez has landed a new job as an anchor/reporter for Univision’s O&O in Dallas.

She’ll be anchoring for Noticias 23 at 5 pm and report for the 10 pm newscast. She replaces Wendy Cruz, who left the position late last year.

An Emmy-award winning journalist, Johana was 6 and 11 pm weekend anchor and host of public affairs show “Enfoque Los Angeles” at Telemundo 52 in Los Angeles until October of last year when the station opted to not renew her contract.

Before her move to the L.A. station in 2013, she spent almost 8 years at Univision’s KUVS-19 in Sacramento as an anchor/reporter.
