Paulina Sodi out at Telemundo

March 31, 2021 by Veronica Villafañe

News anchor Paulina Sodi is no longer working for Telemundo.

A company spokesperson would not provide details, but confirmed her exit with the following statement:

“By mutual agreement, Paulina Sodi left her role as anchor at Noticias Telemundo earlier this month. We appreciate her dedication and contributions to the network during the last four years and wish her all the best in her next endeavors.”

Her last on-air date was March 5.

Sodi joined Telemundo network in 2017 as a news anchor for morning show “Un Nuevo Día.”

Most recently, she had been anchoring the late weeknight edition of Noticias Telemundo.

Prior to her arrival at the network, she spent four years at Telemundo Houston as a reporter and anchor.

She previously worked in Mexico City as anchor for TV Azteca’s “Proyecto 40.”

I not surprise she was literally demoted from morning segments news anchor, to literally a reporter pretty much. Filling in for some shows I know the morning after election night when it was still too close to call until that End the week she co-anchored with Nicole Saurez. Cause then Un Nuevo Día doesn’t have a weekend Saturday morning show, and it was that Saturday morning the election was called for Biden. But she did post on Instagram story a few days ago responding to a Q&A that she was taking time off to be with her family more. But nothing about being let go!!!
