Juan González returns to Telemundo Arizona as Chief Meteorologist

May 18, 2022 by Veronica Villafañe

Juan González returns to Arizona to rejoin Telemundo 39 as its chief meteorologist, after spending the past two years at WTMO Telemundo 31.

He’ll make his on-air debut on June 6.

He replaces Henry Golac, who left the station to join The Weather Channel en Español, which launched May 2.

González, who will be working weekdays, will team up with Veronica Quintero to cover weather for all of the station’s newscasts.

He previously worked as meteorologist for Telemundo 39 from 2016 to 2020. Before that, he was a weather anchor for TeleCubanacan in his native Cuba.
