KTMD Telemundo Houston has launched a new half-hour 10:30 pm weeknight newscast.
Crystal Ayala and Guillermo Ochoa co-anchor Noticiero Telemundo Houston, alongside meteorologist Pablo Sánchez and sports anchor Ubaldo Martínez, adding to their existing 5 and 10 pm roles.
The new late-night newscast debuted Monday, Sept. 26.
Ayala joined KTMD in 2015 as consumer investigative reporter before getting promoted to primetime news anchor.
Ochoa joined the station in June 2022 from KVEA Telemundo 52 in Los Angeles, where he anchored the station’s award-winning morning newscasts for four years.
Sánchez became KTMD’s chief meteorologist in March of 2021, arriving from sister station KXTX Telemundo 39.
Martínez has spent almost 10 years at KTMD in September 2013. He previously worked as sports and news anchor at Telemundo Oklahoma.
