CNN promotes Camila Bernal to national correspondent

January 14, 2022 by Veronica Villafañe

Camila Bernal has been promoted to CNN National Correspondent based out of the LA bureau, effective immediately.

Bernal joined CNN Newsource in 2018 as a bilingual national correspondent, based out of the Washington D.C. bureau, where she reported in English and Spanish-language for the news affiliate service.

She moved to Los Angeles in 2020.

With the promotion, she will be exclusively reporting for the cable news network.

Before CNN, Bernal was a general assignment reporter at KRON. She previously spent two years as a bilingual reporter for the KEYE-TV duopoly (CBS and Telemundo Austin in Texas).
