Edgardo Sanabria promoted to news director at Telemundo Nuevo México

November 22, 2022 by Veronica Villafañe

Edgardo Sanabria has been promoted to news director at Telemundo Nuevo México.

This is his first role as news director, a move that comes less than a year since joining KASA-TV as assistant news director.

Sanabria will continue to be in charge of the Telemundo Albuquerque area newsroom, including overseeing news productions across multiple media platforms.

He had been supervising news operations without the news director title.

Sanabria previously worked at several Telemundo stations, including Telemundo 40 in McAllen, KSTS Telemundo 48 in San José and KTDO Telemundo El Paso.

Telemundo acquired the New Mexico station in 2021.
